Chase Sapphire Lounges Will No Longer Be Part of Priority Pass

Chase is changing access rules for its Sapphire Lounge network. Beginning August 15, 2026, Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club locations will no longer accept Priority Pass or LoungeKey members.

Until now, travelers with Priority Pass or LoungeKey could receive one complimentary Sapphire Lounge visit per calendar year, even without holding an eligible premium Chase card. Additional visits were available for $75. Both options will end when the new policy takes effect.

Access will continue for holders of the Chase Sapphire Reserve, Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business, J.P. Morgan Reserve Card, and Ritz-Carlton Credit Card. Those cardholders will still receive unlimited visits and may bring up to two guests at no charge. Anny additional guests cost $27 each, while children under two are admitted free.

Chase is also extending the entry window for eligible cardholders with connecting flights. Starting August 15, they will be able to enter a Sapphire Lounge up to five hours before a connecting flight, rather than the current three hours. The three-hour limit will continue to apply before the first flight of a trip and for nonstop itineraries.

The removal of Priority Pass members should reduce some of the crowding at popular Sapphire Lounge locations. This is a clear shift toward keeping Sapphire Lounges for Chase’s own premium cardholders.

Travelers with outside Priority Pass memberships have until August 15 to use their free annual visit, while eligible Chase cardholders should start seeing less competition for entry and a longer access window during layovers.
