Chase Sapphire Reserve Champagne Gift

Chase Sapphire Reserve Champagne Gift

Whoa! I have seen some junky gifts sent to people from banks issuers for being a cardholder, but popping bottles? That is a new one. Usually it is a gift card to some store you have never heard of or a wood cell phone holder, uh what? But Chase is upping the bank gift game. Our friend Shira, a moderator in the Travel on Points Facebook Group, got a pretty amazing Chase Sapphire Reserve champagne gift. The crazy thing is she downgraded her card a few months back to a Chase Freedom Flex. Whoops, I guess the system didn’t update before the list was made. Which would make sense since they said it was for her birthday which was over 2 months ago.

Champagne Gift Set Details

I have to same I am a bit jealous of this champagne gift set, and I don’t even really like champagne. Mimosas with breakfast anyone? Here are some pictures she shared of the set.

That is a pretty amazing gift set. I don’t know anything about champagne, I am guessing it is a nothing brand, but who cares.  The flute glass is pretty cool and to get 3 bottles from a bank is pretty amazing.  If this was guaranteed for every Chase Sapphire Reserve cardmember on their birthday month I think it would actually sway some people into keeping the card.

Chase Sapphire Reserve Champagne Gift – Final Thoughts

This sure beats a wood cell phone holder Amex, your move! Well, I guess if you don’t drink it wouldn’t be a very good gift. You could always re-gift it to someone that does, holiday shopping complete!

Has anyone else out there received a Chase Sapphire Reserve champagne gift set? What did you think? I wonder how wide spread this will be and how many they sent out. Hopefully my wife gets one even though we downgraded her card a few months back too :).

  1. My husband got this today. I think it’s for the people that have a birthday in August along with the card opening. His birthday is in August and the card launched in August. The enclosed card talks about sharing a birthday. He got the card the week it came out as well so I’m sure that also has something to do with it.

  2. Got the “Champagne” kit also, also had just downgraded from the Reserve to the Preferred two months ago. Thanks Chase

  3. Looks like it is not Champagne, but rather cheap sparkling wine. Still, better than a wood cell phone holder I suppose.

  4. Good afternoon, Mark!
Yes, I got one, too! I was under the impression from some of the enclosures that it was celebrating the 5th anniversary of the CSR (and those who applied for it early on).
