Southwest Better Business Card Offer

Miles to Memories does not have a direct relationship with the card issuing bank(s) and this post does not include any affiliate links. If you wish to support the site by applying for credit cards or using other referral links, you can do so here.

Before applying I highly suggest reading the following posts: Slow & Steady Doesn't Make You A Loser and A Mandatory Waiting Period to Apply for Credit Cards?. You can find all of our credit card reviews here.

Chase has raised the official bonus on their co-branded Southwest credit cards to 50,000 points. While this is great, there have been 50k working links for quite some time. In fact, you can pretty much get 50k points whenever you want if you look hard enough, but that isn’t the point of this post.

You Can Get 60k Points!

A couple of months ago I wrote about a targeted offer my wife received for the Premier Business Card. That offer gives 60,000 bonus points after $3,000 in spending during the first three months. In that post, I provided the application link. Unfortunately it doesn’t have a landing page, however I know of quite a few people who have successfully applied and received the full 60,000 point bonus.

In an effort not to duplicate the link in case it dies, I am going to send you over to the original post which has all of the details of the offer and the application link. This is not an affiliate link, so I don’t receive any commission if you use it. I just think 60,000 points is better than 50,000 points.

You can find the application link here.

Business vs. Personal

As mentioned before, the 60,000 point offer is only for the Premier Business card. If you are looking for a personal card, unfortunately 50,000 points seems to be the best offer around. You can get the 50,000 point offers on the Personal Premier & Plus cards directly from Chase & Southwest or through anyone’s affiliate links.

Instant Companion Pass

One of the reasons I really love the 60,000 point offer is that it makes the companion pass simple. If you apply for two of the 50,000 point offers, you end up 6,000 points short of the companion pass after meeting the minimum spending. With a combination of the 60k business and 50k personal, you already have the 110,000 points needed for the companion pass automatically!

Conclusion

If you are already considering a Southwest Business card, make sure to get the extra 10,000 points! Additionally, if you are applying for Southwest cards because of the “increased 50k bonus” please know that you can get it just about every single day of the year!
