Delta Interactive Travel Requirements Map

Delta Launches Interactive Travel Requirements Map

As the coronavirus cases spike around the country and the world, one of the most challenging aspect of traveling has been figuring out all the rules and restrictions put in place. This information changes continuously, so keeping track of everything is difficult.

Delta is looking to help, by providing customers with a new tool that makes it easier to plan and book your next trip by bringing detailed travel requirement information. A new interactive map gives you the power to search, view and click-to-book their desired destination all in one place. It provides a better understanding of quarantine and testing requirements, travel forms and paperwork, local health information, local COVID-19 guidelines and helpful links with more. This new functionality for Delta bookings is powered by Smartvel.

The data is carefully curated from national and local government agencies and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) to give customers a comprehensive picture of what they need to know.

As a reminder, Delta has permanently eliminated change fees for U.S. domestic travel, excluding Basic economy fares, beginning in 2021. For any tickets purchased through December 2020, Delta is also waiving change fees for both domestic and international travel.
