Delta Reserve Business Upgrade Offer

Delta Reserve Business Upgrade Offer

American Express has an upgrade offer for Delta SkyMiles® Platinum Business American Express Card holders. Eligible cardmembers can upgrade to the Delta SkyMiles® Reserve Business American Express Card and earn 60,000 bonus SkyMiles after spending $12,000 in purchases within the first six months of Card Membership.

The Delta Reserve Business Card carries a $650 annual fee, but also adds several premium travel benefits over the Platinum Business Card. Let’s see the details.

The Offer

  • Earn 60,000 Bonus Miles: Upgrade to the Delta SkyMiles® Reserve Business Card to earn 60,000 Bonus Miles after you spend $12,000 in purchases on the Card in the first 6 months of Card Membership.
  • $650 Annual Fee
  • OFFER LINK

Card Highlights

  • Companion Certificate
  • Delta Sky Club® Access
  • Complimentary Access to The Centurion Lounge
  • MQD Headstart: Receive $2,500 Medallion Qualification Dollars each Medallion Qualification Year and earn $1 MQD for each $10 on purchases with your Delta SkyMiles® Reserve Business Card.
  • Check Two Bags Free
  • Take 15% off — anytime — when booking Award Travel with miles.
  • Zone 5 Priority Boarding
  • Fee Credit for Global Entry or TSA PreCheck
  • $120 Rideshare Credit
  • $240 Resy Credit® & Global Dining Access by Resy
  • $250 Delta Stays Credit
  • Hertz President’s Circle® Status

Conclusion

Normally, if you have never had the Delta SkyMiles® Reserve Business Card then taking this upgrade offer will trigger the once per lifetime language. So you would technically not be eligible for a future welcome offer on the card,

If you’ve never had the card, then it could be worth looking at the current welcome bonus of 125,000 miles.

Just remember that upgrading will also trigger the higher (prorated) annual fee, and you’ll want to keep the upgraded card open for at least 12 months when you receive an upgrade bonus.

There’s also a similar upgrade offer of 50,000 miles if you go from Delta SkyMiles® Gold Business to Delta SkyMiles® Platinum Business.
