FAA Will Not Make Face Mask Mandatory
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said earlier his week that it will not mandate passengers to wear face masks on planes. This leaves the decision up to the individual airlines.
USA Today reports that FAA Administrator Stephen Dickson told the Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will take the lead in mandating safety regulations when it comes to COVID-19. The FAA will focus on “aviation safety.”
Most airlines already require masks to be worn on flights, and some have said they will be checking passengers’ temperatures prior to boarding. TSA is also discussing plans to implement temperature checks at major airports.
American Airlines, United Airlines and Delta Air Lines have taken a stricter approach in recent days when it comes to protective gear aboard. They have said they will ban any passenger who refuses to wear a mask.
There have already been a few instances in recent days where passengers have refused to wear masks aboard. In this case Brandon Straka was removed from an American Airlines flight for not wearing a mask. The airline also said that he would be banned from flying with them, for as long as masks are required.

All i can say to the airlines is good luck filling seats if you are going to force people to wear masks , this is apolitically motivated farce pandemic, if you look at the facts,it affects by far those over 80 with underlying conditions, diabetes and heart disease kill tens of thousands more Americans on a year in year out basis, so why doesn”t the W H O or the C D C require people to eat healthy and excercise? that will save many more lives than the stupid masks , it will even save covid patients since they will be in far better condition, wake up people we’re being played by those hoping to profit and the media.tens of millions have been exposed to covid and have already recovered ,it’s not reported because they never got tested and the overwhelming majority had no symptoms.
