Frontier “All You Can Fly Pass” Lawsuit

Frontier Airlines launched a subscription called the “All You Can Fly Pass” in 2022. The promise was that customers could fly as much as they want for the price of one pass.

Currently, the monthly pass offers unlimited flights for $149, a summer pass for $999 a year, an annual pass for $1,999 a year, plus a one-time enrollment fee of $49. We also see discounts from time to time.

However, a new lawsuit filed by a South Carolina woman last week claims the “All You Can Fly Pass” offered by Colorado-based Frontier Airlines is a bait-and-switch scheme. Frontier advertises dimensions for acceptable carry-on bags, then allegedly will not honor the advertised dimensions at the airport. The woman claims she placed the bag in a sizing template, which fit, but was told the bag was still too large.

She says Frontier Airlines will not refund her the amount of the pass, which she calls “inoperable.”

The lawsuit also claims that booking online is virtually impossible, as availability for travel dates only shows flights for the year 1904.

A hearing date in this case has not yet been set, as reported by CBS.

  1. Bought two – totally useless. Frontier does not publish available flights making the program useless because it’s like finding a needle in a hay stack. And that goes for all destinations not just the one you would like to fly to.

I would like to join the active class action law suit.

  2. I feel so foolish to have fallen for this SCAM. Im looking into the Lawyers that handle Class Action Law Suits. If a law suit needed
to be filed this is it,

  3. I purchased 2 of them. Me and my daughter has not been able to use them. I did request a refund and Frontier denied my request.
When you go to book a flight, there’s usually a long layover in which I always fly to Florida and there’s never a layover, purchasing regular, without the go wild selection.. If you go chose a regular flight and just pay in full for it there’s no layover. The go wild pass selection sometimes the fee to travel is just as high as the regular pay in full flights. They claim it’s just taxes and fees but some of them are 69.00 there and no return flight back, so it won’t let you book a one way. This proves my point that they are higher than just booking it without adding the go wild pass in your selection. I played with the system a bunch, for days and have to this day still play with it, just to make sure I wasn’t going nutts, it’s definitely a scam.
I have also checked many other cities and states. I went to book a trip to Tennessee and the go wild selection is blank.
Some other cities I tried is giving me a date of 1901?
If you try and book 24 hours ahead of time verses a few days the flight cost doubles.
This is a complete scam and fronteir needs to be held accountable for false advertising as these fights are not free and most are not available in multiple cities and states

  4. Horrible…..It seems that they will not update gates on announcements/app or provide gate agents if you buy. I feel foolish for buying it. planes delayed, gates change without announcing. Even app and website do not update gate information.

  5. I bought two. I haven’t been able to use either one. It is definitely a scam. They only let x amount of people with passes on each flight, so flights can have empty seats and I still can’t use my pass to obtain a seat.

  6. We purchased two annual passes to be used May 2023 – April 2024. Never any flights available. I would join in this lawsuit. Please advise. I just want the $799 per person we shelled out.

  7. I purchase this pass for 699.00 For the summer season. I was able to purchase a trip to cleveland for fourteen dollars. Thought it was great. Until I bought another one and was hassled the same way ,for my book bag. After raising my voice they finally let me on with attitude. They also canceled my flight home. And I was stuck in Cleveland for 2 days prior to this. I received an email shortly a week later Saying they had a special deal get ready. Then they said I get to fly all year instead. I was already upset about the bookbag. But now I can’t even book a flight anywhere. Everything cost $169 for a flight. When that’s not supposed to be how the pass works. Not to mention, I cannot get a flight. More than 14 hours to a flight. That was direct when I bought the pass. I feel completely robbed from this airline. Cheated and lied to. And of course, there’s no way to get your money back or talk to anybody else I could do is cancel the renewing of this lying promotion they have going.

  8. I purchased two of the all you can fly for a year passes. To begin May 1, 2023 through April 30, 2024. This pass is 100% a scam. I showed up in person at the Frontier Airlines corporate office and requested my money back. Here is why it is a scam (and a top supervisor agreed with me). They oversell each flight by at least 10 people. You are only allowed to book 24 hours in advance domestically. So if everyone shows up for their flight…they will refuse the last people who booked their flight. Because of the 24 hour limit window to book a flight, those with passes end up being the last people who booked, thus causing them to be the ones who will not fly if everyone shows up for the flight. I was not reimbursed the taxes, etc that I had paid…and wasn’t able to fly nor was I paid back for any one time fees (other than the main pass). I was in tears because it takes a lot of work to travel the 2 hours to the airport from my home. I wasn’t reimbursed the cost of gas to drive the 2 hours there and the 2 hours back home. I wasn’t reimbursed the costs of the parking that I had to pay. I need a lawyer too. I was in tears. That’s why when my sister said to go to their office it was near the airport, that’s what I did. I spoke in person to the receptionist and then was called about an hour later by a supervisor. I clarified with her the oversold flights and then people with passes being the first to be kicked off because they were the last to book. She said yes! That is how it works. She was very kind and reimbursed me the cost of each of the fly all year passes (but not all the other stuff). To the person who said that the main pester needs to get a job….you need to stop trolling because you don’t know enough about the situation to warrent a comment. Wait until a situation like this affects you. It’s frustrating and it takes a toll on you. All the time off from activities, finding childcare, all for nothing. But for the hours up and back, and the hours spent at the airport trying to get things situated. There wasn’t another flight they could put me on for two days away. They would not cover lodging and when I asked at the airport for my funds back…they pretty much laughed in my face. It wasn’t until I headed to corporate that things got resolved (for the most part). I still should be reimbursed for all the other stuff.

    • I bought the pass to try to fly back east after my mother passed away. They didn’t even post it to my account until weeks later and refused to back date the monthly pass. Cheaper flights back maybe but the EXTREMELY long layover, was almost IMPOSSIBLE to get someone in “chat” to help me, etc…I think they are scamming, cheating & lying. I’d like to start or join a class action suit!

  9. I bought a Fly Pass. Worst decision ever. Not only did I get stuck in a city for weeks. I lost my job and missed a critical court date! And the airline cut all means of communication with its staff unless you pay extra. It was unbelievable and I paid months in advance before it opened for my fly pass while it was $799. I knew there would be glitches but I had no idea they would flat out lie.

  10. Not at all, most of the cheap airlines have lied about the size of their carry on bag size. On their web site they be say one size (usually tsa approved bags) then at the gate their bag thing to actually get on the flight is much smaller

  11. This stupid suit will be dismissed. It is sximply not supported by the facts.

She needs to get a job, or see a doctor.

    • Um this is not a stupid lawsuit!!! I also purchased this pass and it is never ever available!!! Do your research!! It is a valid claim and you should do your own research before making rude comments!!

  12. I got ripped-off of $599. by buying the “All you care to fly pass” for 2023″. Deep in the paperwork it did say you could only use it 1 day before the airplane took off. Almost always full by then! Plus I am disabled and I need to get round-trip tickets, which you can’t do with this. I tried many, many times to call but at the same time this happened (spring 23), they quit dealing phones calls. So I never was able to get to cancel the $599. Damn mad here.

  13. Worst purchase I’ve ever made. It’s never available to book or it will take you two days to get to your destination. Frontier is trash!
