Holiday Inn Club Vacations Timeshare Offer – $500 In Value
Reader Kevin, the timeshare offer king, forwarded me his latest offer. It looks like pretty much anyone with an IHG rewards account should be able to get it. This offer focuses on Las Vegas and Orlando, but it is sometimes possible to get them to offer other destinations. This Holiday Inn Club Vacations timeshare offer comes with around a 70% discount on the hotel rate plus some points. Let’s take a look at the details.
Details Of Holiday Inn Club Vacations Timeshare Offer
The offer is as follows:
- 4 days, 3 nights for $199 plus tax
- Spacious one bedroom villa
- Stay at
- Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Desert Club Resort, Las Vegas
- Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Orange Lake Resort, Orlando
- Receive 10,000 IHG Rewards points if you book by 11/20/20
- Must attend a two hour timeshare presentation
Breaking Down The Value
This offer is pretty straightforward, unlike some others that offer a ton of different stuff. You are essentially getting a steep discount on the stay in order to go to the timeshare presentation.
I checked some weekend dates on the properties and the 3 night stay in a one bedroom villa often came to around $600-$700 before taxes. That is a savings of around 70% or $450 on average for going to a 2 our presentation. You also get 10,000 IHG Rewards points if you book by 11/20 which I value at around $50.
Final Thoughts
It looks like both properties are rated as 4 star hotels on TripAdvisor so they are pretty decent places to stay. The value is not outlandish but if you value your vacation time at less than $250 an hour then I think it can be worth it. If you were planning on traveling to Vegas or Orlando anyway then this could make a lot of sense.
Here is a map of the Holiday Inn Club Vacations locations. I would take a look and see if there is another place you would rather go to and then call and ask if you could use the offer there. It is likely that they will work something out with you.
Also remember to always ask for more. You can often get more points, a lower rate, more time to book or an upgraded room if you play a little hardball.
