hp amex offer ebates

Up to 38% Off at HP

Update: As with all Amex Offers, make sure you are purchasing something that will be charged instantly, since the charge has to go through today in order to get the credit from Amex.

A couple of months ago HP and Amex released an offer giving $50 back with a $250+ purchase. That offer was available via Twitter and the American Express website and unfortunately filled up awhile ago. Still, I know a lot of you probably have it loaded to your card.

Today is actually the last day to take advantage of that offer and to celebrate, HP is sweetening the deal. Today Ebates is having a flash sale giving a whopping 18% back at HP. (New members get $10 for signing up with a referral link.) That means if you spend $250 at HP with a card linked to the Amex Offer, then you will basically get 38% back on your purchase! That means cheap laptops, printers, ink, etc.

Here is how it works:

  • $250 purchase
  • – $50 Amex Offer credit
  • – $45 portal cashback
  • Total cost: $155
  • Discount %: 38%

I know a lot of you probably forgot about the HP offer and I’ll admit I did too until I saw the 18% cashback. Unfortunately you are running out of time if you want to stack these two deals together, but there is still a few hours left. As for what you should buy, I’ll leave that up to you!

Happy shopping!

  1. Thanks for the reminder. You forgot about the 5% OPEN savings at HP. On say Amex SPG Biz, Gold Biz or SimplyCash and perhaps others.

  2. Do not bother – There is nothing on Amex Offers. Tried to get this deal a week ago.
“Hi there, the HP offer is not availalbe on Twitter. For a list of available offers please visit bit.ly/1NbghZy “

  3. CAUTION: I’ve read that depending on when they ship the item, you may not actually receive credit for the offer from Amex since we’re on the final day of the offer.

Unfortunately I’m going to have to let this offer slip away. Sucks too as I had it saved on my cards. Just not enough time in the day left after life + chasing a 1 year old around.

  4. Did you buy anything? I have the offer synced to all my accounts but don’t know what to buy that are good to resell. iPads are much easier to resell.
