Hyatt’s Latin America & Caribbean Promotion
Hyatt just launched a new promotion that looks quite a bit different than what we have seen in the past. It is focused on Latin America and the Caribbean, but they are offering free night certificates instead of bonus points. You can earn up to 5(!) of them. Let’s take a look at this offer.
Promotion Details
Here is what Hyatt’s Latin America & Caribbean promotion is all about:
- Register by September 30, 2026
- Then stay three qualifying nights at participating resorts in Latin America and the Caribbean between January 1 and March 31, 2027
- Earn one Category 1-4 Free Night Award every three nights, up to a maximum of five Free Night Awards.
- Free Night Awards must be redeemed by June 30, 2027.

Notable Terms
Here are some notable terms for the Hyatt free night certificate promotion:
- Beginning on your first Eligible Stay after registration and during the Promotion Period, you will receive one (1) Category 1-4 Free Night Award for every three (3) Eligible Nights at participating Hyatt resorts in Latin America and the Caribbean.

- Free Night Awards earned under this promotion must be redeemed by June 30, 2027.
- A maximum of five (5) Free Night Awards may be earned under this promotion.
- For the purpose of this promotion, an “Eligible Night” is defined as any night where a member is paying an Eligible Rate or redeems a free night award.
- If a stay has Eligible Nights during the Promotion Period but is not completed during the Promotion Period, the stay must be completed by June 30, 2027, in order to have those Eligible Nights on that stay that were completed after registration and during the Promotion Period count for this promotion.
- Only the room occupied by the member will count toward this promotion.
- You must provide your World of Hyatt membership number at the time of booking or on property (if available) prior to check out.
- Please allow two to three weeks after checkout for Free Night Award(s) to be posted to your World of Hyatt account.
- This promotion is combinable with other offers unless expressly restricted by the other offer.
It looks like award stays should count towards this, as they normally do with World of Hyatt promotions.
Hyatt’s Latin America & Caribbean Promotion: Final Thoughts
This is a really good deal if you had plans to travel to any of the eligible hotels. I am sad this wasn’t going on when we went to Colombia a few months ago. We would have earned a couple of free night certificates if that were the case. At this point we only have 1 qualifying night booked, but you never know. I’ll sign up for the promotion just in case, as one always should. I could see a couple of people maximizing this one to the best of their ability. Especially with free night awards counting towards the promotion.
