Las Vegas Hotel Deals Right Now!

It is no surprise that Las Vegas hotel room prices are cheap right now. If you are a gambler then you should absolutely check your casino loyalty accounts for comps, but for others looking to visit, now is a great time to pay! And if you don’t want to visit, check out my YouTube Vegas tours to get your fix. 🙂

Utilizing Credit Card Programs for Luxury Hotels

One of the best ways to save on Vegas hotels is by utilizing credit card luxury hotel sites which offer upgrades, free breakfast and property amenities. A few services exist, but the ones that are consistently the best in Vegas are Chase Luxury Hotel & Resort Collection and Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts.

Right now both services have pretty amazing deals in Las Vegas, with many properties offering a $100 food and beverage credit (per stay), an upgrade, late checkout, free daily breakfast for 2 and more.

Las Vegas Luxury Hotel Deals 2020

There are a ton of deals up and down the Strip in Vegas, so if you are budget conscious then you can find a hotel too. In this post I am focusing on Chase LHRC and Amex FHR which are luxury hotel services. The price you will pay is a bit higher, but you get a ton for your money with these deals.

Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts Vegas Deals – Summer 2020

As of now the deals are pretty spectacular for the next couple of months at select higher end Vegas casinos. I searched dates in July, August and September with July being the cheapest. Most of the time August and September are a bit more expensive, but not much more and I expect those prices to drop. This is great for last minute bookings, especially if you don’t mind one night stays and switching hotels.

Bellagio – $107 Per Night

Bellagio is infamous as being the hotel I once had a housekeeping nightmare at, but also one of the better hard products on the Strip. Service leaves a lot to be desired for such a high end property, but I’ll never argue the rooms aren’t amazing. Amazing too right now are the prices.

Yes, that is $107 + $45 resort fee + taxes per night at the Bellagio. That is an exceptionally low price for this hotel. Considering you get a room upgrade, 4pm checkout (something they actually charge for in Vegas), 2 free breakfasts and a $100 food & beverage credit, it’s almost “free” for a one night stay.

I should mention that my Mlife Gold account (I get Mlife Gold through my Hyatt Globalist status), has an offer for $54 per night with no breakfast or other perks. I’d gladly pay an additional $53 for $100 in credit, free breakfast, late checkout and an upgrade. Oh yeah and their new Conservatory display is fantastic too!

Delano – $71 Per Night

One of my favorite properties on the Strip is Delano. It is connected to Mandalay Bay and thus has use of that hotel’s amazing water park like pool area. Plus there are a ton of restaurants and every room in the hotel is a suite! Better yet, look at that price which doesn’t include $39 resort fee or taxes.

In this scenario you actually end up paying around $125 all-in and you’ll get the late checkout, room upgrade plus $100 food and beverage amenity and free breakfast for two. I should mention their breakfast in Della’s Kitchen is pretty.darn.good. Even more icing on the cake is the fact that my Mlife account shows the same nights as costing $74 so I get all of these perks for less than MGM wants to charge me directly.

Chase Luxury Hotel & Resort Collection Vegas Deals – Summer 2020

For a long time Chase LHRC was the best service for Vegas, however earlier this year they cut a lot of our their credits. I’m happy to say that move has been reversed and they are once again offering competitive credits and benefits when compared to Amex FHR. Here are some of the notable deals I found using Chase LHRC for travel this Summer.

  • Aria Hotel & Casino $134++ – Comes with breakfast for 2 ($30 credit each),  $100 food and beverage credit, $5 off resort fee, upgrade and late checkout.
  • Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino $88++ – Same things as Aria. This deal is up there with Delano. Some might like staying in Mandalay Bay for easier pool access and the rooms at both are very nice.
  • Park MGM – $95++ – This hotel is as cheap as $33 on my Mlife account and the rooms aren’t gems but they are recently renovated. Location is good, but some of the other offers are much better. This comes with free breakfast, $100 credit and other perks just like the others.

Las Vegas Hotel Deals Right Now – Bottom Line

Chase has vastly improved their Luxury Hotel & Resort Collection in Vegas and Amex has stepped up their game as well. With the current state of things Vegas hotels are cheap and these programs give you a way to rack up the additional perks as well. Always check for comps first, but if you don’t have them it’s hard to argue against some of these prices.

    • Yup. I’ve done it many times and always receive credit. You need to make sure they have your World of Hyatt number on the reservation when you check in. If you have previously linked them it may already be there automatically but I would double check when you get there.

  1. Do any of these deals extend into next year? Because I wouldn’t be caught dead in a casino right now, and it’s not looking good for the fall season.

  2. I used FHR at the Delano the on it’s reopening day. You have the option of breakfast at 3940 or Citizens. We went to Citizens and it was great. Used the $100 F&B credit at the Delano Beach club. Had a few issues, including a broken ac unit and we had to wait to get any front desk service (45 mins to checkout and 30 min hold to phone in the ac). Also they didn’t apply the credit rights. Anyway, got the room for $102 a night for Reopening/July 4th weekend. Amazing rate. I was shocked how busy the hotel got.

    • Very do-able. In 2016, I did that. 2 nights at NYNY, two nights at Mandalay Bay, etc. etc. On weekends I would go stay off strip. At the time American Express had an offer for 5x MR points on M life stays, so it worked out really well. On my last night, the woman who checked me in to the Luxor asked me “How did you open your M life account in January and you are already platinum?” I just shrugged.

  3. I used the Venetians buy one get one for essential workers. My wife and I are both essential, She’s a nurse, and I am a firefighter/paramedic. We booked for October 2020. She booked two nights and I booked two nights, we only paid for two. I read about that deal a few weeks back on this site. Thanks a bunch for the great tips!
