Earlier this year Chase ran some incredibly generous bonus promotions on their personal United MileagePlus Explorer card. Now, they have increased the offer for the business version of that card.

The Offer

Earn 50,000 Bonus Miles after you spend $3,000 on purchases in the first 3 months your account is open.

Card Benefits

  • $95 annual fee is waived the first year.
  • Earn 2X on tickets purchased from United and at restaurants, gas stations, and office supply stores
  • Earn 1X on all other purchases
  • 10K Bonus miles after $25K spend in a calendar year
  • Free first checked bag
  • Priority boarding
  • 2 free United Club passes annually

Analysis

This is a great offer on this card and 50,000 United miles are fairly valuable, although not as valuable as before. This matches the highest public offer we have seen although the $3K spend requirement is higher than last time.

Since this card is subject to 5/24, you will want to keep that in mind when applying. Also, with the Chase Ink Plus being down to its final days, if you are going for a Chase business card and are under 5/24, you might want to see if that one makes sense given that it won’t be available once the new Ink Business Preferred is officially launched.

Conclusion

Overall this is a solid offer for United travelers and those invested in the MileagePlus program. I personally would look at all Chase business cards before applying to make sure this is the one you want at the moment, but if it fits within your plans then this is no doubt a good deal.
