  1. Hey Mark – I still haven’t gotten any kind of bankable clarification on the double elite night promo. But for a fun show of mutuals’ frustration … check out onemileatatime (.)com/deals/hyatt-business-card-double-elite-nights/

  2. Howdy – regarding the WOH Biz Card 2X Night Credit Promo … spoke to my Globalist Concierge a few days before hearing this … the Concierge said that Hyatt emailed Chase to clarify about if award nights would qualify … and Chase said no, because the terms says “eligible rate” not “eligible stay”, and on an award night there is no “rate”.

It would be great to get a solid answer on this one way or the other – but it sounds like you asked Hyatt and got a different answer?

Hyatt said this is Chase’s deal.

    • oops. to clarify, by “award nights” I mean point-redemption stays (not Free Night Certs.)

The answer to this question is the lynchpin that will save me to keep Globalist next year. My fingers are crossed you guys see this and have a concrete answer!!

      • I reached out to our Hyatt PR contact who kicked it up the chain and confirmed it. I guess they could be wrong if it really comes from Chase but I doubt that since they can’t give out the Elite Night Credits. Award stays have usually worked for pretty much all other promos so I feel fairly confident here but I can’t guarantee anything obviously. We don’t have a Chase contact to confirm it that way unfortunately.

        • Thanks Mark, for doing this extra work. I totally agree about the general consistency across promotions of point nights counting towards elite night credits. This one is just tricky since Chase is involved. I’ll see if I can get another answer from another Hyatt concierge.

I mean, from the credit app landing page … this verbiage would seem to vindicate us. Hyatt considers point stays as “eligible”
