Bank of America is refunding annual fees for every Spirit credit cardholder and product-changing them into no-fee cards. Mark thought he found a hack in Choice Hotels’ gas promo — until Choice’s IT outsmarted him. And Discover just dropped the best welcome offer in its history: $200 after $500 spend, plus double cash back the first year, which could mean five quarters of 5% categories and up to 12.67% effective return. Plus, Benjy’s case for going back to the Sapphire Reserve, and whether pay-yourself-back at 1.25 cents makes the fee worth it.
