Two New Plastiq Promos For February (Targeted)
Plastiq loves to roll out promos each month and there are two that I have seen this month. These are usually targeted and sent out via email. One is decent and the other one is pretty terrible, not sure what Plastiq was thinking on it actually.
I use Plastiq from time to time when I am working on big spending offers or new welcome offers. It is a good option to round out your credit card spending portfolio.
1.95% Fee Promo
The first promotion this month that Plastiq targeted some accounts for is a 1.95% promo. The normal fee for Plastiq payments is 2.5%. Targeted accounts will get the reduced rate on three payments of up to $10,000 each. If you maxed out the offer it would save you $165 on the $30,000 in payments. While this is not as good as the 1% promos most people can get over a 2% return on their payments which makes it mildly profitable.

Fee Free Dollars Promo
The fee free dollars promo this month is pretty lame but if you were going to pay some bills anyway you might as well pick up this loose change.
When you use Plastiq from February 1 to February 29, you can earn one (1) FFD per every $50 of your total monthly payments. This special offer applies to minimum payments of $1,000 made at the regular 2.5% Plastiq fee. You can earn a max of 1,000 FFDs.
- Make $5,000 in total monthly payments to earn 100 FFDs
- Make $20,000 in total monthly payments and earn 400 FFDs
- Make $50,000 or more in total monthly payments, earn 1,000 FFDs
Final Thoughts
I much prefer the reduced fee promos versus the fee free dollar promos so of course I got the FFD deal. Be sure to check your emails to see if you were targeted for any.
