MtM Vegas – New Vegas Casino Opening Wildfire Fremont

This week traffic was a mess in Las Vegas as the massive Tropicana interchange project closed the freeway, Tropicana and caused massive backups. It’s a good thing snow visited the valley as well to cheer everyone up.

In other news we got an update timeline on the new Durango casino and also confirmation of an opening date for Wildfire Fremont. This is Las Vegas’ newest casino and will fill the local market for people who live Downtown but want to avoid Fremont Street proper. We also discuss a dramatic Strip rescue and the first rumblings of the Mirage to Hard Rock transition.
