Priority Pass Lounge Honolulu
Priority Pass keeps growing and now gives you access to the over 950 lounges worldwide. By now many of you no doubt have access to Priority Pass lounges from various cards including:
- Citi Prestige
- Chase Sapphire Reserve
- Amex Platinum
- Ritz Carlton Visa
and many others. My family has at least 6 Priority Pass memberships. Yikes!
New Lounge in Honolulu
I just received a newsletter from Priority Pass and they have added a total of 25 new lounges this month. Among them was one I know will interest a lot of people. As of now, Priority Pass will give you access to the Plumeria Lounge in Honolulu International Airport’s Interisland Terminal.
While the lounge is located in the Interisland Terminal, you can take a Wiki-Wiki bus airside between terminals to visit. The lounge has the following amenities:
- Newspapers/Magazines
- Soft beverages
- Refreshments
- Wi-Fi
- Alcohol
- Air Conditioning
- Television
You can find pictures and the full list of amenities and policies on the Priority Pass website.
Bottom Line
I don’t normally write about new lounges added to Priority Pass, but I think with the popularity of Hawaii, that this addition will be a valuable one. While Priority Pass previously had access to the IASS Hawaii Lounge in the Overseas Terminal, that lounge has limited drinks and no food, so it’s mostly just a nice place to sit. Plumeria seems like a nice proper lounge and one possibly worth visiting if you have a long layover or are spending a lot of time in HNL.
You can find a full list of new Priority Pass lounges here.

[…] Brand New Priority Pass Lounge Honolulu: A New Option for Hawaiian Travelers […]
Great news, Shawn! We’re heading to HNL next year, so this will be a great place to rest before leaving the island.
I saw this on another blog earlier this month and it perfectly coincided with transiting HNL on a Hawaii trip with the fam. I used my Priority Pass. My wife didn’t have per Priority Pass from the CSR yet and we had 6 total people to get into the lounge. She paid for a couple on her CSR and Chase said she’d get reimbursed within 1-2 billing cycles.
The lounge was nothing special, but quiet and comfortable. Staff were very polite. They had instant noodles and some meatballs and plenty of snacks (mini hershey bars, chips, etc.). They had several types of wines and Maui brewing company beer in addition to POG and soda and water. It’s just one open space (you can see the entire room from anywhere inside it), but it had the amenities I come in for — a quiet spot, power outlets, and some food and drinks. A nice addition for sure.
Thanks for the info and mini review!
The Plumeria lounge is the one on the 3rd floor (up escalators to the right of security) that is complimentary to business international Hawaiian Air travelers. There was also packaged miso soup last week. The snacks are prepackaged, in glass jars. Think there were about six types (gummy bears and granola bars in addition to what Nico listed).
The Premier Club is the one on the 2nd floor near gate 56 that is complimentary to Hawaiian Air elites and Premier Club members. This club was also recently renovated and has an open design with lots of outlets. It has a great coffee machine (beans ground for each cup), coffee and hot water in hot pots, POG (juice blend), and soda and prepackaged Hawaiian Air snack mix. It is usually crowded.
Thanks Susan!
“That lounge has limited drinks and no food, so it’s mostly just a nice place to sit.”
I dispute that that lounge is a nice place to sit.
Fair enough. I suppose that the term “nice” is very subjective. Let’s just call it a place to sit with a few things to drink.
