American Express has rolled out their lucrative Royal Caribbean Amex Offer to new accounts this week. Let’s take a look at the deal and how you can score a 25%+ rebate on your next cruise!

The Offer

Get 25,000 additional Membership Rewards points one-time by using your enrolled Card to spend a minimum of $1,000 in one or more eligible transactions on cruise reservations booked at royalcaribbean.com, by phone at 1-866-562-7625 or by contacting your preferred travel advisor.

  • Offer valid on cruise bookings made online at royalcaribbean.com, by calling 1-866-562-7625 or booked through your Travel Professional. Reservations must be booked on US website only.
  • Purchases must be made in US dollars.
  • Excludes onboard purchases, e-gift card and physical gift card purchases made online, transfers/transportation to the ship, MGM Resort International Joint Vacation and Royal Wedding Packages. Excludes Celebrity Cruise, TUI Cruises and Silversea brands.

Need to Know

This offer originally came out in October, however I have confirmed that it is rolling out to more accounts this week. I used this offer to book the upcoming MtM Diamond cruise and received the 25K points back within a few days! At the very least this is a 25% rebate back on your purchase in the form of American Express Membership Rewards points, but depending on how you redeem them it could be worth more!

It’s nice that you can qualify for the offer even if you go through a travel agent for your booking. While this isn’t quite as good as the $500 off $1500 Amex Offer from last year, it is historically very good, especially considering the cruise industry has largely recovered from the pandemic with prices steadily rising.
