Sabon 25% Off & The Long Forgotten Gift Cards
I just received an email from Stuart telling me that Sabon NYC is having a Thanksgiving sale and is offering 25% off everything on their site with a minimum purchase of $39. Since I cover miles, points and credit cards, you are probably wondering why I would be talking about a site like Sabon NYC which sells luxury goods soaps and lotions.
Well do you remember when American Express was giving $10 for making a purchase through Amex Express Checkout? That was definitely one of the most popular deals of this year and one of the participating merchants was Sabon. I know many people purchased a ton of $10 cards since they also got a $10 credit. In fact, I have a fair share of these cards myself that I had sort of forgotten about. At the time of purchase I figured I would use them when the time was right. Maybe that time is now?!?
How to get the Discount
Through 11/27/15 at 11:59PM EST, you can save 25% off sitewide when you use the code THANKS. Also, Top Cashback is paying 8.08% back at Sabon too! Today I am thankful for Stuart, since I had honestly forgotten all about the cards. Now to find something awesome for my wife.
Happy saving!

I suspect it is run by morons….
“This account has been flagged for security purposes.
Please submit a copy of your identification + matching form of payment for us to authorize this purchase.
We will provide a time frame of 24 hours – if after this time we do not hear back from you this order will be cancelled.”
This is 1st time I have been asked to provide ID for online purchase and what was the point of using amex checkout if I have to expose my credit card to them? 🙂
It seems to be working now. I did enter gift card before the discount code.
This POS company flagged my $30 purchase and want me to submit copy of ID and credit card.
I heard on the customer service line that using internet explorer is producing that error. However, the code and the gift cards do not appear to work together (I did not use IE).
The code works as expected until I started entering my gift cards. Even though the code shows applied, it changed the order total back to the original cost. I cannot get through on the phone so I did what the message said and sent an email (the message said to send an email for an urgent request). Hopefully, I hear back from someone soon.
The person who tipped me off was able to successfully do it, but it took a couple of tries. I haven’t done it personally, but will be trying a little later!
Have you tried? I keep getting “invalid or expired” message.
