Walmart Savings Catcher Problems

I have written pretty extensively about Walmart Savings Catcher. In the past month or so I have reviewed it, shared my real world experiences and showed you how to redeem Walmart Bucks stored on Bluebird.
That last topic has caused trouble for some people though. I have heard from numerous people that their Bluebird transactions are being declined when they clearly have Walmart Bucks on the card.
People have contacted me in frustration since neither Walmart nor American Express seems to be able to help them solve the problem. Apparently both companies are pointing fingers at one another.
A Possible Solution
Thankfully one of my readers has a theory that makes a lot of sense. She has found that you need to have a normal balance on the Bluebird card for it to work. It will still deduct the purchase from the Walmart Bucks, but there needs to be money on the card.
Thinking back, I have always had at least a small balance on my Bluebird when I have redeemed Walmart Bucks. For those people who are having an issue, try loading some money on the card and see if that works.
No Response From Walmart to Savings Catcher Problems
I have reached out to Walmart several times to see if I could get readers in contact with someone who can help and they have never responded. Hopefully this little piece of information will help those who are having Bluebird & Savings Catcher problems.
Unfortunately I cannot empty my Bluebird and use it to see if it gets declined since I am out of the country, but I will try when I return in a week. Happy shopping!

Before, my reward was sent to me by email and I just printed it out and took it to the store and it had a code on it but I tried recently and it prints out but not the purchase code.
A week ago I had a little over $20 on my savings catcher saved up…today I checked and only had 3.76. Is there anyone to contact a find out what happened to my money? It took me a long time to accumulate that much.

Same here, I can’t put info from receipt in. Just system down. Almost a week now, somethings not right, my spirit is telling me they’re probably getting ready to stop the savings catcher. All about money.
Everytime I enter my info and send threw it goes to blank screen and won’t do anything.Why? aggravated!!!!!

I have had the same prob as Rochelle, Ruth, and Brenda when trying to enter my receipts via my smartphone. I have to go in using my pc at home for the receipts to be recognized.
I can’t get the system toaccept my receipts . I put them in the same way I always did but nothing happens when I push submit. Button. It usually says your receipthss been received. Now nothing happens. Help me because the receipts will soon be over seven days and it will be too late
I am able to get into Walmart Savings Catcher and put in my receipt number and date, but after I press submit, the screen goes white and it doesn’t post to Walmart Savings Catcher. I have had this problem for around two weeks now and I’m not able to enter any of my receipts. Help please! Thank you.
I have been trying to enter 2 Walmart receipts both yesterday and today. It lets you enter them bur then it goes nowhere. I have tried this several times. Is the system down ? This is very FRUSTRATING. It doesn’t go back to the savings catcher screen & there is no record that you entered anything. Can you please fix this and find out what is going on. Thank you
I had a balance of $80 and one day it showed as transferred. I called Walmart (45 mins on hold) and was told that it was transferred to a blue bird card but there is no blue bird card linked to my account and they don’t know what blue bird card it was transferred to. I have called numerous times each week (Placed on hold for over 30 mins each time) for the past 2 months and still no one can tell me anything except it is being looked into. I was counting on this money for Christmas and Walmart does not care. Just like their stores, they do not hire enough people to handle the work in a professional and timely manner. It appears no one manages Walmart or is responsible for anything. No managers want to hear from customers and no customers have access to managers in the corporate office.
Same exact thing happened to me on December 11. Just 2 days after you. Did you ever receive your reward? Mine was $177.
I have been saving my walmart savings catcher rewards for several months. I went to the app to redeem my rewards and the redeem button was gone. When i called walmart, they said it was a server problem..to go on walmart .com using google chrome and it should work. I have had 10 phone calls and more than that in emails. Each time i am told they will reset the account and nothing changes. On the web page, the button to redeem says the funds are being transferred, but the e gift card never shows up. This has been going on for over a month and I still do not have my funds. Any suggestions?
this leaves me dicouraged i finally got through to the ohone number today and they sent me the card was so happy ended the call only to enter info and find it was empty call again and am told to wait for balance to show in 24 hours and if not call back.. i have never had this issue wiith them before so dissappointed and now i wonder if i will ever see this money and if my children are going to have a christmas!!
The exact same thing is happening to me. I have been trying to redeem my savings catcher rewards to an e gift card and on the app on my phone the green “get it back” button is gone and on my computer it just says under the amount that my egift card is being processed, but that’s been over three weeks. I emailed the complaint to a bogus walmart savings catcher email account but still didn’t get a response.
I have contacted Wal-Mart customer service for the Savings Catcher NUMEROUS times to no avail regarding the problem of not being able to redeem my savings to my Bluebird account. I have deleted the app and redownloaded, that didn’t work, I logged in a computer and tried to redeem from there, STILL will not let me!! The button on the app has disappeared and the button on the computer website is there but it will not let me click it. It’s is gray so I cannot click. I FINALLY a few weeks ago got someone on the phone and the problem is still not fixed! Everytime I contact I get no response. Their website and customer service is the absolute worse I have ever seen for customer service. I am about to the point of discontinuing the service because of the lack of customer service. BUT….i want the money that I have saved before that happens!
I cant sign into savings catcher on tablet but i can on laptop anyone no why?
I put in a walmart receipt for 4/3/2015 a week old today and it says it is not eligible its only a week today just found it
When wal mart sent the credit to my e-mail account and it went to the junk file. I didn’t
see it and it was deleated. Since it has not been used in any way, can I get it back by
any means? The first one was $6.19 and the second was about $9.50.
You will have to contact Walmart. I’m not sure what they can do about that.
They can’t do anything… I have over $120 saved up and they can’t seem to figure out how to transfer to a different e-gift card. You would think with as big of a company they could fix this problem…

For some reason I can’t redeem my walmart buck to my blue bird card. My Walmart app use to have a button to redeem your Walmart bucks to your blue bird card. I believe the app updated and since then only I can only get an egift card. Can you please help me?
Try their website. Apparently the button has disappeared from the app, but is still there on the website.
