Update: SoFi has quietly improved this card by removing the requirement of having a SoFi Plus membership which costs $10 per month.

That means that this is now a no-fee credit card that earns 5% unlimited cash back rewards at grocery stores.

It’s worth noting that The SoFi Smart Card is a credit card issued by SoFi Bank, N.A., Member FDIC, that is secured by your SoFi Checking and Savings account. Your Smart Card balance must be paid in full each month. The Smart Card is exclusively available to individual SoFi Checking and Savings accountholders and is subject to application and approval.

SoFi Technologies has launched a new charge card, the SoFi Smart Card. The card is exclusively available to eligible new SoFi Plus members starting today.

Some of the features of the SoFi Smart Card include:

The Smart Card is exclusively available to new members who join SoFi Plus, SoFi’s premium membership subscription. The card will leverage Mastercard One Credential to allow for multiple payment options.
