25K Southwest Points When You Refer a Company

Southwest is offering customers the opportunity to earn 25,000 points for referring a company to Southwest Business. The requirements that need to be fulfilled by the company are quite easy, so this promotion can get you some free points if you can complete such referrals. Let’s see how it works.

Update 12/20/21: Mark received an email telling him that he had until 12/31/21 to still take advantage of the offer.

The Offer

Refer your company to Southwest® Business, and you could earn 25,000 Rapid Rewards® bonus points. Here’s how you can earn 25,000 bonus points:

  1. Register and refer your company.
    • Between June 28, 2021, and September 30, 2021, use this form to refer your company’s travel decision maker to Southwest Business.
    • To register for this promotion, you will need to provide your Southwest Rapid Rewards® account number at the time of registration.
  1. Earn points based on your company’s path.
    • After you register and refer, the person who you refer will receive an email from Southwest Business asking them to opt in to receiving communications for this offer. They’ll need to opt in to keep the offer going. The person you refer will be notified by an email from Southwest Business that your company either qualifies to enroll in SWABIZ or qualifies for a managed relationship.
      • If your company qualifies to enroll in SWABIZ:
        • Your company will have 30 days from the date that email was sent to enroll in SWABIZ.
        • After your company is enrolled in SWABIZ, you’ll receive an email letting you know you have 90 days to book through swabiz.com and fly one qualifying revenue round trip flight (award flights do not qualify). This email will contain additional instructions on how to earn the 25,000 bonus points.
        • Once the qualifying round trip flight is flown during the required 90-day period, you’ll earn 25,000 bonus points.
      • If your company qualifies for a managed relationship, you’ll earn 25,000 bonus points with no additional requirements.

Key Terms

  • Please allow up to 4 weeks for your Rapid Rewards bonus points to post to your account.
  • Rapid Rewards bonus points will not count toward A-List, A-List Preferred, or Companion Pass qualification.
  • Only one referrer per company ID number will be eligible to collect the Rapid Rewards bonus points, and this will be the person who enters the first referral Southwest receives for that particular company.
  • If the company you are referring already has a SWABIZ account, a managed contract, or a business travel relationship with Southwest Business, you will not be eligible to earn the 25,000 Rapid Rewards bonus points.

Conclusion

The requirements to earn this 25,000 points bonus seem pretty easy. The main issue might be finding a company that you can refer, if yours already has an account or is not interested in signing up.

But once you refer a company, the only requirement is to book through swabiz.com within 90 days and fly one qualifying revenue round trip flight. SWABIZ is a corporate booking tool that allows you to manage and track your company’s travels. You’ll have access to the same low fares as Southwest.com, but with the added bonus of extra features.
