Costco has a very good deal going on right now for the purchase of Southwest gift cards. If you are someone who likes to fly Southwest this could be a decent way to lock in some savings and the discount is higher than we typically see during sales.

Breaking Down the Savings

Costco Executive members should also get an additional 2% on the purchase of these cards. This deal amounts to a 14% discount for regular members or a 15.7% discount for Executive members before calculating any credit card rewards earned. Not a bad way to save on Southwest flights.

Keep in mind that a maximum of three Southwest Airlines Gift Cards can be applied per passenger on each reservation.

Conclusion

This is a very good discount for Southwest lovers, and it’s nice to see it again with a limit of 5 per membership. That means that you can purchase a maximum of $2,500 worth  of Southwest Gift Cards for $2,149.95.
