Hi Joe,
Some folks, like myself, like betting on sports, but just don’t enjoy the sportsbook experience. But no matter.
I did an exhaustive survey for the newsletter prior to me being on the show. Many locations that allow reserved seating do include a varrying amount of complimentary drinks depending on the type of reservation—Linq is one standout, in that they require additional F&B with the reservation. Here are just a few examples of what reservations include:
Harrah’s – bukcets of beer or up to two free drink tickets
Caesars – 2 free drink tickets up to ‘all you can drink’ for VIP bookings
Circa – drink ttickets for north and south wing seats and open bar for table reservations
Cromwell – 2 drink tickets per person (tables can have up to 4 guests)
You’re right though, for those on a typical first come first serve basis, do not offer free drinks spare what you’d get from tipping the ticket writer. Best of luck this season.
Watching a game on TV is NOTHING like watching @ Circa or Westgate…………come on.
Sportsbooks have been charging for years for a seat on major event ( NFL Sunday) days…………also drinks ARE NOT INCLUDED
You guys have a great show but are clueless on books.
Different strokes for different folks – thanks for listening Joe
