Uber Android Pay Promotion
I really have found ridesharing to be lifechanging while traveling. I have long hated taxis because I find most of the time they try to rip me off. While I do love to take public transportation, it isn’t always the most convenient option, so ridesharing helps so much, especially when I can save money.
Today Uber launched a new promotion in collaboration with Android Pay that I think is very good. Let’s take a look.
The Offer
Save 50% on your next 10 rides (up to $5 each) when you pay with Android Pay through 10/15/16.
How It Works
- Pay with Android Pay through the Uber App.
- You don’t need a special promo code or anything else.
- The 50% promotion will be applied automatically and will take off up to $5 per ride.
- If you don’t have payment information setup with Android Pay, download the app from the Google Play store ahead of time.
You can find the full details of the offer in the Uber app on the “Payment” screen under “Unlock Ride Discounts.”
Referral Offer
If you have never tried Uber out before (is there anyone left who hasn’t), then you can get a free ride of up to $20 depending on your region by signing up with the code UBERMILESTOMEMORIES. That would take care of your first ride and then the Android Pay promo would kick in afterwards.
Conclusion
While $5 isn’t a huge amount, $50 over the course of 10 rides for doing absolutely nothing isn’t bad at all. If you have an Android phone then it probably doesn’t hurt to make sure that Android Pay is setup with Uber so you can save on your next ride.
I want to send a special thanks out to Weida in the Miles to Memories Facebook Group for letting me know about this promo.
