United Award Sale

I don’t know if this is a part of a Cyber Monday deal or if it is just an unpublished award sale but United is bringing the heat. It was first noticed last night in the Travel on Point(s) Facebook Group for Europe flights and then Dan’s Deals posted a deal for Australia earlier today. These prices are hard to beat, if you can suck it up in economy. Although, it was reported there was some 60K business class award space last night, at least for the Europe portion. They were only showing for return flights though.

UPDATE 11/28/22: There are even more locations and here is the landing page with all of the info. (HT Dans Deals)

United Award Sale To Europe

It appears a ton of airports and destinations are included here. The price? From a miniscule 15,000 United miles (or Ultimate Rewards points) one way! It is showing up for United cardholders and anyone with United status. Most of you should have one of those thanks to the Bilt Rewards United status offer.

United Award Sale To Australia

There are a ton of flights showing up for cardholders and elites to Australia as well. It looks like the prices are in the 20K – 24K per flight range. The dates and airports seem to be pretty widely open so get to searching!

Final Thoughts

If you can suck up these flights in economy (Europe is easily possible but Australia is another story) then this is a pretty amazing deal. Not as good as that American Airlines sale a few years back but pretty dang close. The fact that you can easily transfer Ultimate Rewards to United may make this better for some anyway.

    • Depends on who is flying the route I think. If United they may offer you a cash upgrade price online although it may be high with the award space being cheap. If business class saver space becomes available you should be able to pay the difference for business. I wouldn’t make the booking planning on that happening though.

  1. Just got an email from United about this.
