United MileagePlus Explorer Business 50k Offer
On June 2, 2015 the 50k bonus on the Chase United MileagePlus Explorer card was reduced from 50k back to its normal 30k. It is still possible to get an additional $50 statement credit by searching for a flight on the United website, but that just gets you 30k + $50. Not a good deal.
Thankfully if you are still interested in picking up a large chunk of United miles, there is another option. The Chase United MileagePlus Explorer Business card still has the 50k bonus available after spending $2k per month in the first three months.
Card Rundown
Here is a quick rundown of the card’s benefits:
- Earn 2 miles per dollar spent on tickets purchased from United and on select business expenses, including restaurant, gas station, and office supply store purchases
- Earn 1 mile per dollar spent on all other purchase.
- 10,000 Bonus Miles when you spend $25,000 in net purchases on your Card each year
- Free first checked bag
- Priority boarding
- No fees on foreign transactions
- 2 United Club passes per year

Things to Consider
This is a business card so keep in mind that Chase will want you to have some sort of business to get it. Also, there have been pretty widespread reports of Chase denying applications for new businesses without a lot of revenue. Building a decent history with their personal cards can help in this manner.
Although the Ink Plus bonus just dropped from 60k to 50k, it is important to note that the Ink earns Ultimate Rewards points which can be transferred to United and other programs. If you are only getting one business card from Chase, this might not be the best fit, although that is something you will have to determine for yourself.
Conclusion
While this offer may not be for everyone, if you are looking to pickup a nice chunk of United miles pretty quickly and this card falls within your strategy, it is nice to know that the option exists. It certainly is better than the sad 30k offer on the personal card.

Thanks. Unfortunately that links requires you to login. When I do, I get just the normal 30k offer. I’m glad that you received 50k though!
Definitely a nice card and offer. The 50K on this card is the new 30K as this offer is the standard offer now.
