Award Wallet Codes
I just want to thank everyone who emailed me for one of the seven Award Wallet codes. There were over 200 responses and I wish that I had enough codes for everyone.
If you did ask for a code, you should have received an email from me whether or not you won. I was humbled by the response and will try to get more codes for my readers in the future.
Controversy
For those who did email me, I want to assure you that your email addresses will not be used for marketing in any way. I have sent an email stating that I may use your email address to offer you an Award Wallet code if I get more, but it will not be used for anything else.
A reader did email me and accuse me of being dishonest with this promotion. He was the 23rd respondent, but was upset that he didn’t get a code. I believe it clearly said only the first seven people would get codes, so I am not sure of why he was upset.
This reader also accused me of running this promotion just to trick people into subscribing with their email address. As mentioned above, emailing me did not subscribe you to anything. I always strive to be transparent and honest and want everyone to know that I will not use your information for anything other than offering Award Wallet codes again.
American Airlines E-Gift Card Winner
There were 105 comments on the original post which qualified for the contest. Additionally, 15 people successfully entered via Twitter by tweeting @milestomemories with #MTMAA. I assigned a number from 1-105 to each of the comments in the order they were received. Each tweet was given a number from 106-120 in sequential order.
The winning number was 16. The 16th comment was from Flyer708 who wrote, “I have to say it’s the AMEX serve, gave me a new perspective.” He was referring to my post about switching Bluebird to Serve. Congratulations Flyer!
I have sent an email out to the winner. If I don’t hear back within a week, I will draw another number. Thank you again to everyone who entered. I hope to be able to run another contest soon.
Please know that your readership is appreciated. Have a great weekend!
