Amex Business Platinum Gogo Internet Passes

I know a lot of you were able to get in on the amazing 150K bonus offer on the American Express Business Platinum card. Among the many benefits of the card are a global entry credit, lounge access and a $200 airline fee credit each calendar year.

Earlier this year American Express also added 10 free Gogo passes to the list of benefits. These passes are each good for one flight segment and are issued each calendar year. This means that if you get the card, you should be able to get a total of 20 passes during the first cardmember year.

How to Claim Your Passes

Claiming your Gogo passes is actually quite easy. It can be done while on a flight, but it is probably better to just load them to your account ahead of time, since you will need your American Express Business Platinum account number.

First go to Gogo Amex site and enter in your card number, four digit CID code and then click “Get Started”.

Now simply login to your account or create a new Gogo account and the passes will automatically be loaded onto it. When you go to the “My Account” section on Gogoair.com you should see the following.

There will be 10 of these in your account.

How to Redeem

Redeeming your passes is super easy as well. When you are on a Gogo equipped flight, simply connect to the Gogo internet hotspot and open your browser. Once on the Gogo screen enter your information and login to your account.

The system will automatically recognize that you have the passes in your account. It will ask if you want to redeem one of your free passes. Simply click Redeem and you will be connected.

Conclusion

If you recently picked up the Amex Business Platinum card, then it is a good idea to load these into your account so you are ready to enjoy free connectivity on your next flight. I just did all of this for the first time and am really happy with how easy the entire process is. Happy surfing!
