Two Better Bonuses for Amex Delta Gold Card

American Express and Delta Air Lines recently launched improved offers for all six credit cards. You can currently get bonuses as high as 100,000 miles, but the public offer for the Delta SkyMiles Gold American Express Card is only 65,000.

You don’t have to settle for that offer though. You can currently do much better with a 80,000 miles bonus, or 40,000 miles and a $400 credit. Let’s see the details.

The Offers

These offers are available through dummy bookings. Just go to the Delta website and start booking a flight. At the final page, “Trip Summary”, you should see the offer under your itinerary. You don’t have to actually book a flight to see these offers.

Conclusion

If you are planning to apply for the Amex Delta Gold Card, then it’s definitely worth checking for these offers first, before settling for the public bonus. You can earn up to 80,000 SkyMiles and the annual fee is waived the first year.

However, keep in mind that the public offer of 65,000 miles could could make sense if applying through a referral link. The person referring you can earn 20,000 or even 30,000 referral bonus points.

  1. What qualifies for 400.00 statement credit. E.g. would paying for a checked bag or an onboard purchase on a Delta flight with the card qualify for the 400.00 statement credit.
