This would be great news and the verbiage does make it seem possible.  I have talked in length why I think cashing out your Ultimate Rewards points should be considered.  If it went on for longer it would give another reason to keep the Sapphire Reserve long term.  Hopefully that or some type of grocery bonus stay around long term.
