Chase Matching Increased Ink Offers

Chase Matching Increased Ink Offers

There has been a lot of news coming out of Chase in the last 24-48 hours. The Chase Sapphire Reserve card has launched an offer that is the best we have seen in 5 years. There are also reports coming in that there are increased offers on the Chase Ink Unlimited and Chase Ink Cash cards. I guess that they are offering 90K Ultimate Rewards for only $6,000 in spend. It will be YMMV if your branch has these offers.

Having said that, I don’t want to focus on that as much here, even though those are amazing offers. Instead, I want to console those that recently grabbed one of these two cards. There is nothing worse than grabbing a card and then seeing the offer jump a few days, or weeks, later. Have no fear, I have some good news for you! We have a report from Nick in our Diamond Lounge that Chase matched this offer.

He signed up for the 75,000 points after spending $7,500 within 3 months offer a few weeks ago. He reached out to Chase via secure message to see if they would match these rumored 90,000 point offers and the next day they agreed to match it. Since he had already completed the minimum spend required for the offer they automatically posted the bonus 15,000 points in his account. His 75,000 points are still showing as pending since his first statement hasn’t cut.

If you haven’t completed the minimum spend requirement yet then they will probably say to reach back out after the spend is completed, or something along those lines. It is worth reaching out. There is nothing better than getting more points than initially expected.

This should hopefully be the same for recent Sapphire Reserve applicants. Let us know how it goes if you reach out!

  1. I was approved for chase ink business cash around august 8th. I sent a note via secure message asking for the increased offer and they dropped 15k points in my account! As a note I had already met the SUB.

  2. Where is the best way to initiate this request? I just got one 2 months ago so I suppose it can’t hurt to at least try!

  3. How far back do they typically go for matching offers? I applied 8/23/22 & P2 applied 7/26/22 so almost 2 months ago and almost 3 months ago. Still within the MSR range though, so thought I’d see. Thanks!

    • The further out you get the less likely it is to happen but it only takes a minute to send a secure message so worth a shot for sure.

    • As a follow up, I sent a note through secure message on P2’s account (aplied for 7/26) and they are adding the 15,000 extra points to his account!

  4. I am seeing 75,000 points on the ink Business Unlimited. I am seeing 100,000 points in the ink Business Preferred.

    • The 90K offers are in branch offers. I wouldn’t be surprised to find their way online in the near future though (just a guess on my part)
