Chase Matching Offers As Far Back As November For Southwest Business Performance

Earlier today I wrote a post sharing my thoughts on the new Southwest Business Performance offer from Chase. They recently increased the offer to 100,000 points after $25,000 in spend.  This is enough points to earn the Companion Pass with Southwest once the offer is completed.  I wrote why the offer may not be for everyone.

After sharing the article in our Facebook Group we got multiple data points from people being able to match their old offer to this offer.  One was from someone who applied in November of 2019.

Chase has approved everyone who previously signed up under a different offer to this new one.  They have said to contact them back once you complete the $25,000 in spend within the first 6 months and they will match you to the 100,000 points.  This is a difference of 20,000-30,000 points depending on if you signed up for the 70K or 80K offer in the past.

Whether or not it is worth it to you to spend the additional $20,000 for a bonus of 20K-30K in points depends on your situation.  If you have continued to spend on the card for tier qualifying points for A-List status etc. then this is a perfect chance for you to double up the points you have been earning.

I figured it was worth sharing and it is pretty cool that they are matching people as far back as they have.
