Citi ThankYou Premier 50K Offer

The Citi ThankYou Premier 50K Offer Lives!

Yesterday the bonus on the Citi ThankYou Premier card was reduced from 50K ThankYou points to 40K. While I hope most of you who wanted to were able to apply for the card, if you didn’t then there may still be a chance. Via Miles for Family, there is a way to get the 50K offer to show up on the Citi website by searching for pre-qualified offers. Here is how.

How to Find the Citi ThankYou Premier 50K Offer

  • Enter in your name, address and the last four of your social security number. Note that no hard credit inquiry is performed. After submitting you may see the following:

This offer is showing up even if you don’t have pre-qualified offers. There are no pre-qualified offers for me, but the 50K ThankYou Premier offer showed up in the “You may also be interested in these cards” section. I do believe that most of you should be able to get it to show.

Take Screenshots!

Citi has made a number of mistakes lately and has tried not to honor them. Just in case this is a mistake, I would take screenshots of everything and confirm the bonus with Citi as soon as possible. I don’t believe this is a mistake, but you never know. Some people are still having issues getting Citi to honor the $0 spending requirement on the ThankYou Preferred from about a month ago.

Conclusion

If you are in the market for this card and still want to get the highest bonus possible, then I suggest heading over the site to see if you can get the 50K offer to show up. I personally wouldn’t apply just for the increased bonus, but if this card is on your radar anyway, then you might have one last chance at this higher bonus.
