Conrad Las Vegas Fine

Conrad Las Vegas Fine Hotels

I recently described the Conrad Las Vegas benefits for top-tier Hilton Honors Diamond members.  On my recent separate stays, I stacked these with Fine Hotels & Resorts benefits.  Essentially, I was able to quintuple-stack the play:  Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts booking ($200 Amex Platinum credit), Hilton Diamond and FHR benefits, Hilton points on the room rate, plus current Hilton promo earning.  Today, though, I’m focusing on the Fine Hotels & Resorts benefits specific to the property.  Hopefully, you’ll find below helpful in planning your future Conrad Las Vegas Fine Hotels & Resorts stay.

We decided to still publish this even though The Conrad has been pulled from the FHR booking site for two reasons. Firstly, Crockfords (located on site) is still a part of FHR and the credits will work the same. Secondly, many people had bookings lined up before the hotel was pulled from FHR and the hotel is still honoring those bookings.

Conrad Las Vegas Fine Hotels & Resorts Benefits

Surprisingly, I had to inform the front desk agent I was on a Fine Hotels & Resorts stay on my first visit to Conrad Las Vegas.  He eventually provided an itemized list of all Fine Hotels & Resorts benefits.  Here they are:

  • Early 12 noon check-in, based on availability.
  • One-tier category room upgrade, based on availability.
  • Daily Complimentary Breakfast: $33 per person, up to two guests, only redeemable at The Kitchen. (The buffet costs $36 per person)
  • Complimentary in-room Wi-Fi: $5 credit applied to final guest folio at check out.
  • Guaranteed 4 pm late check out.
  • Resort Experience Credit:  $125 food and beverage credit to be used at participating outlets throughout the resort.  Gratuity and retail are not included.  The following outlets are not eligible for the resort experience credit:
    • On the Fly Room Service
    • Eight Lounge
    • Carversteak
    • Caviar Bar
    • Tacos El Cabron
    • Brezza Restaurant
    • Bar Zazu
    • Tiger Sugar
  • Welcome Amenity:  Complimentary glass of sparkling wine at the lobby bar, up to two per reservation.

My Take

Conrad provides a great all-around list of benefits for Fine Hotels & Resorts guests.  I was able to check in early on each stay – around 1 pm (based on my arrivals).  The breakfast credit is more than enough for two individuals.  Unfortunately, it’s only redeemable at The Kitchen.  Diamond guests may be challenged to use their separate daily credits, which are now limited to The Dawg House.  That’s definitely a good problem, but one to be prepared for.

I enjoyed having the confirmed late checkout on each stay.  The welcome amenity sparkling wine is easy to use, as well.  One person can order both glasses of sparkling wine.  The $125 food and beverage credit is quite generous.  I rarely, if ever, have seen a Fine Hotels & Resorts property credit over $100.  Don’t let the list of exclusions discourage you.  Resorts World has countless options – you shouldn’t have any problem finding several that work for you.

Conclusion

I wasn’t able to fully consume the FHR and Diamond benefits on either of my stays.  I wish that I could have used the credits for gratuities, also.  Potential visitors may be able to justify a stay at this average property by holding either, or both, of these benefits.  But I don’t have any plans to do so again.  I did enjoy my past stays at the Conrad Las Vegas while leveraging both benefits, though.  How was your Conrad Las Vegas Fine Hotels & Resorts experience?

  1. Definitely sad to see Conrad leave the FHR program. Using all of the credits made it an incredible weekday value, especially when factoring in a nice suite upgrade.

  2. We stayed at Crockford recently using Anex FHR. You also got free valet and front of line pass to The Kichen. Worth looking if prices are close.

  3. I had problem getting these credits. They usually show as credit on my AMEX PLT account then they reverse the credit. I call them and they re-reversed it. Then again and again. Took me 2 month to get the correct credit posted. I would not go back for same FHR program.
