MtM Diamond Monthly Memberships Closing
A couple of years ago we decided to launch a premium community called MtM Diamond Lounge. Our goal was to create a fun and positive social environment for people to geek out about miles & points, but also to enrich their lives. Yeah, I know that sounds corny, but our group is as much about the social aspects as it is about the nuts & bolts of this hobby. Because we feel BOTH are super important. Our Group Aims to Be More
While launching this “social” group right before the pandemic provided a lot of challenges, we worked through them. Over time the group has matured into private Facebook and Slack groups, we have added a slate of exclusive shows including our Spending Time podcast and in 2021 we began holding quarterly meetups. The meetups are varied by type and location in an effort to make them fun and meaningful for everyone.
So far we have had meetups in Denver, Las Vegas, Orlando and Detroit with future meetups on the books for Mexico City (for Mexican Independence Day), Austin, Savannah, Memphis and even an MtM Diamond cruise to the Bahamas. Mark and I are at every meetup and we both have grown to love this group, the people in it and the community that has formed around MtM Diamond.
MtM Diamond – Changes to Membership Plans
Over the past few months the community has grown tremendously and thus we have decided to shut down monthly sign-ups for awhile beginning in July. It’s important to us that we keep the group valuable, fun and manageable so we are going to cap the size a bit for now. So this is how it will work.
- Monthly sign-ups will shut down in early July – You can sign-up until then for $15 per month
- Annual sign-ups $180/yr will remain available for those who want to commit to the group for a year – Currently you can save 10% by subscribing annually but that discount will end when monthly sign-ups close
MtM Diamond What You Get
As a reminder when you join you get instant access to both our Diamond Facebook group (we stream some of our shows there live) and our Private Slack. Via Patreon you also get access to all of our past Diamond exclusive podcast episodes plus all episodes going forward. You also will be eligible to attend our quarterly meetups including some of the cool ones mentioned above!

Beginning in early July the monthly membership option for the MtM Diamond lounge will no longer be available and instead people will only be able to join via an annual subscription. We’re not sure if/when we will open up monthly memberships again, but we wanted to give everyone who was interested a chance to join before we make the change.

If I sign up now, do I get a full month? Or would my month end in 2 days at the end of June?
I’m pretty sure I’ve seen Patreon act that way, where if you sign up near the end of the month your subscription will immediately end when the month changes.
Yeah they don’t prorate it unfortunately. But you do get access to 2 years of podcasts etc. for the $15 so I think that is why they do it that way.
