New Benefits Added to JetBlue Cards

New Benefits Added to JetBlue Cards on March 1st

JetBlue announced upcoming changes to its TrueBlue program back in December. Besides all the changes, the airline also revealed two enhancements for select Barclays JetBlue credit cards.

The JetBlue Plus Card gets a new redemption option called Points Payback. This allows members to redeem points to pay themselves back from purchases of $25 or greater, made within the last 90 days, up to a maximum of $1,000 annually. Points redeemed for purchases will appear as a statement credit toward their account balance. It’s not clear what valuation you get for your points when you redeem through Points Payback.

The other enhancement is for JetBlue Business Card members. They will soon enjoy early Group A boarding on JetBlue-operated flights. Group A comes after Pre-Boarding and Mosaic/Mint passengers.

Originally it was announced that these new benefits would launch in the spring of 2023. And now emails have gone out revealing the exact date, which is March 1st. That’s when JetBlue Plus Card cardmembers can start redeeming through Points Payback, and JetBlue Business Card members can start taking advantage of Group A boarding.

These additional benefits come at no extra cost for cardholders, as both credit cards will continue to have a $99 annual fee.
