Two New Transfer Bonuses for Avios and Turkish Airlines
Two new airline transfer bonuses are available for American Express Membership Rewards and Citi ThankYou Rewards members. Amex cardholders can receive 30% more Avios on transfers to British Airways, Iberia and Aer Lingus, while Citi members can earn a 40% bonus when transferring points to Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles. Amex 30% Transfer Bonus to Avios
American Express is offering a 30% transfer bonus when you transfer Membership Rewards points to the following programs:
- The British Airways Club
- Club Iberia Plus
- Aer Lingus AerClub
The standard 1:1 transfer ratio is increased to 1:1.3, so transferring 1,000 Membership Rewards points produces 1,300 Avios. The offer runs through September 27, 2026.
Citi 40% Transfer Bonus to Turkish Airlines
Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles is offering 40% extra miles on eligible transfers from Citi ThankYou Rewards made between August 1 and August 31, 2026.
Citi points initially transfer at the normal 1:1 ratio, with the 40% bonus posting separately after the promotion ends.
The bonus is capped at 50,000 Miles&Smiles miles, so you can maximize it by transferring 125,000 Citi points. The promotion ends at 11:59 p.m. Türkiye time on August 31.
