You may have seen this elsewhere, however I know my audience crosses over quite a bit, so I wanted to cover this deal really quickly for you. Amex Offers has a new deal giving a $10 credit on a $10 or more purchase with Uber when using your synced Amex card.
What Is Uber
If you haven’t heard, Uber is a taxi alternative in many cities across the world. (My recent review from Colombia.) Instead of having to worry about hailing a cab and then paying the driver, everything is done through the Uber app. You simply link a credit card, head into the app when you are ready to be picked up and press a button. It really is that easy.

Registering for the Uber Amex Offer
Like with many offers, you can sync your Twitter account with Amex Offers and tweet out #AmexUber. Additionally, you should see the offer when logging in to the American Express website. Remember to register for the offer on multiple cards, you need to open each card in its own window before clicking the “Save Offer” button for each one.
It is important to know that these offers are normally limited and once they reach a certain enrollment, Amex will stop taking new registrations. Even if you are not sure whether you will use Uber or not, I recommend registering for the offer.

Frequent Miler points out that you can use your synced Amex card to purchase $25 Uber gift cards, essentially giving yourself a 40% discount. Gift cards can be purchased through this link, however apparently it isn’t working for everyone.
Conclusion
Uber is written about a lot in the blogosphere, probably because of the referrals. To date, I have referred exactly 0 people, since I don’t publish my link too much. With that said, I have used and enjoyed the service a few times now simply because it makes the process of getting a driver so much easier.
