One of the best ways to maximize the value of credit card rewards points is to transfer them to travel partners to book award tickets or free nights. We thought it would be useful to have a complete list for reference to help save you time. There are four flexible credit card point programs which allow travelers to get outsized value from rewards points.
Below is a list of the different options available to transfer points and their respective transfer rates. I will bold any transfer partners that are unique to the particular transferable currency.

Marriott Bonvoy Transfers
These transfer a little bit differently than most currencies. Points transfer at a 3:1 ratio, unless noted otherwise. Additionally, there is a 5,000 miles bonus in the destination account for every 60,000 Bonvoy points transferred. Here’s an example: you transfer 60,000 points from Marriott Bonvoy to Air Canada Aeroplan. That becomes 20,000 Aeroplan points, plus the 5,000 bonus, so a total of 25,000.

Credit Card Transfer Partners List – Final Thoughts
As you can see, there’s a lot of overlap between transfer partners. Finnair and Accor are exclusive to Capital One. While Thai and Malaysia are exclusive to the Citi ThankYou program. Many people transfer Ultimate Rewards to Hyatt points, since they tend to be more valuable than other hotel program points.
Banks regularly offer transfer bonuses, so bookmark our list of current points transfer bonuses. These can make your redemptions even more valuable.

I started creating a resource to help me figure out the partner airlines for Chase UR and AMEX and decided to build it out for Citi, Cap One, Bilt, and Brex. Hope it’s useful for others!

Are there any prohibitions on transferring UR to Bonvoy and then Bonvoy to Alaska? Not a good redemption value, but a strategy for a top-off better than buying points…
Should be no problem
Does any credit card transfer to Royal Air Maroc?
Can you transfer air miles to hotel stays?
Thank you, however, this would be so much more helpful in a spreadsheet.
[…] Flexible Point Master Transfer List: The great thing about flexible points is the ability to transfer them to several airlines and/or hotels. Keeping straight who partners with who is a different story. Here’s a one stop shop to see where you can transfer your points. […]
You can convert Hyatt points to miles, at a crappy 2.5:1 conversion. Also you can choose to get miles instead of Hyatt points for every stay. May be useful in some limited cases. https://world.hyatt.com/content/gp/en/rewards/air-auto.html
Is Delta unique to Amex? I don’t see it in bold, but I also don’t see it on any of the other lists.
Yes Delta is unique to Amex – I will make it bold. Thanks Jason
Now if only one of them could snag American Airlines, Alaska, Amtrak, Accor, Japan Airlines or Wyndham things would be great.
Looks like Alaska Airlines has a partnership with AA and JAL.
I still can’t believe Citi hasn’t been able to get it done with AA.
Don’t forget, Emirates is in Ultimate Rewards.
Other than that it’s a comprehensive list. Good job.
Added – thanks Mary!
Citi can also transfer to Emirates as 1:1
Nice to have this all in one place. well done
