Awesome Targeted Offer For Amex Business Gold With NLL

Awesome Targeted Offer For Amex Business Gold With NLL

My wife received a great targeted offer from Amex with NLL (No Lifetime Language). There’s an interesting element in the offer that I haven’t seen before, so I want to share the offer with you and also share how to check if you’re eligible for the offer.

Update 12/18/21: More people have been targeted with a similar offer but for the Amex Business Platinum card.  It comes with a 150K welcome offer plus a 10K authorized user bonus offer.  Check your mailboxes!

The Offer

This offer came via email to my wife:

  • Apply for the American Express Business Gold Card
  • Spend $10,000 within the first 3 months of card membership
  • Receive 90,000 Membership Rewards points
  • Must apply by March 31, 2022
  • Offer element 2, the “bundle”:
    • Add an authorized user during the application, spend $1,000 on that card during the first 3 months
    • Receive an additional 10,000 Membership Rewards points

Notes about this offer:

  • To be eligible for the extra 10,000 points in the “bundle” option, you must add the authorized user during the application, not later.
  • My wife currently has this exact card.
  • The offer does not have the typical “once in a lifetime” restriction. This is a “No Lifetime Language” or “NLL” offer.

Check If You’re Eligible for the Offer

If you want to check your eligibility, log into your American Express account and go to this link. If you see “this offer is no longer available”, then you aren’t eligible. You could try applying without logging in, but applying for offers that aren’t targeted to you is a risky game with American Express. Consider the risks involved when deciding whether to try applying anyway.

Final Thoughts

This is a great offer. My wife will definitely apply after paying down some big charges we made over the past 2 weeks. That way, her account balances will be low, increasing her odds for instant approval. After the spending requirements and bonus points involved, this could net her 110,000 Membership Rewards points.

Did anyone else get targeted for this offer? How did it come to you?

  1. A different offer for me. Received this one in email Oct. 18 so check your trash folder. Email title: “earn up to 120,000 points. Apply to get funding and maximize rewards for your business”. Earn up to 90,000 Membership Rewards Points after 10,000 spend on eligible purchases with the Business Gold Card within the first 3 months + 30,000 Membership Points after at least one draw on Kabbage Funding line of credit within the first 3 months of Gold Card membership.

Today the same offer was a popup when I logged into one of my Amex biz accts. Not interested in Kabbage Funding so no clue what those fees would be. The 90K for the Gold Card is intriguing.
