American Express Platinum Varieties GuideIncreased Offers Galore: Get 70K-100K For Amex Gold Business Card

There have been a few new offers launched on the American Express Business Gold card that could net you 90,000 – 100,0000 Membership Rewards points. It all depends on which offer is available to you and what kind of stacking you can do.

Update 5/27/22: It looks like a large amount of the 90K plus 10K authorized user offers went out last night. My wife included.

Update 5/14/22: We have multiple reports of people getting targeted for the 90K and 90K plus 10K authorized user no lifetime language offers. Check your emails.

Update 3/12/22: I just received another offer for an Amex Business Gold with no lifetime language.

Update 2/12/22: There is a new public link available that may work for you.  HT DDG

Update 12/11/21: Myself and Benjy got another targeted offer in the mail. The link to sign up is americanexpress.com/bgold90k.  It asks you to log in to fill out the form for your targeted offer. I am not sure if it will tell you that you are not eligible if you try.

Update 11/13/21: There is a link you can try to see if you were targeted for the 90K offer plus a 10K authorized user offer like Ryan recently got.  (HT DoC)

Update 8/26/21: I have once again been targeted, for the 4th time now, via a traditional mailer. Many people are also seeing upgrade and expand your membership offers for the Amex Business Platinum.

Update 5/14/21: More people have been targeted, be sure to check your Amex Offers.  I was able to sign up for one even though I just got the Gold Business card late last year.  I also did not get the pop up on it even though I had for regular offers.

UPDATE 4/20/21: There is a new offer at the 80K level I added in but it requires a lot lower spend. It doesn’t come with the credits though so you will have to decide which offer fits your needs best.

Update 3/25/21:  More people have been targeted via regular mail for the 80K-90K offers without lifetime language.  My wife received one in the mail and multiple people reported similar in the Miles to Memories Facebook Group.

Earning Structure and Perks Of The Amex Business Gold Card

Before we get into the different offers we should do a quick review of what you get from the card.

80K Public Offer

The public offer has been increased to 80,000 Membership Rewards points.  You can find it by going to their main site (open in a clean browser if you don’t see it at first). The details of the offer are as follows:

  • Earn 80,0000 Membership Rewards points after spending $6,000 within the first 3 months.
  • $295 annual fee is not waived.

70K Public Offer

80K – 90K Targeted Offers

There are also targeted offers for 80,000 or 90,000 bonuses after spending $10,000 within the first 3 months of card membership. It appears these links have no lifetime language as well so perfect for anyone who has had the card in the last 6-7 years. Be sure to double check the language before applying though. Here are the links to see if you are targeted:

If you get this response it means you were not targeted for the offer:

We are sorry This offer is no longer available. If you’d still like to apply for a Business Card from American Express click here.

The points offered are higher with these offers but I believe you miss out on the $300 credits of the public offer.  If you know you will easily max those out that may be the better option.

100K Possible Offer

How about getting your cake and eating it too with the old 2 player one two step!? Benjy was able to get the increased 70K offer, with the $300 in statement credits, via referral for his wife. And because he used a 30K referral from his personal Amex Gold card he will net a total of 100,000 Membership Rewards points AND the $300 in credits.

There is one thing to consider going this route, the 30,000 point referral will be taxed at a $300 valuation.  That could make it less valuable to you than the 90K offer etc. Most likely not but something to be aware of for sure.

Final Thoughts

The Amex Gold Business card has a lot of offers to choose from right now.  I grabbed it when there was a 60K offer available via referral which only required $5,000 in spend. I probably like that offer a little bit better since the spend was more manageable.  But if you know you can hit the higher requirement, and can max out the $300 in credits, these new offers are tough to beat.

Which Amex Business Gold offer intrigues you the most? Or, are you waiting for the lower spend offers to come back? Let me know down in the comments below.

  1. Thanks for the reminder, got Business Gold #3, just like the amount of Business Platinum. Limit of charge cards is 10, right?

  2. I just got the 80 K offer…using it now. However when I log into my account I now have a offer for 90K with no lifetime language. Can I have two business gold at the same time?

  3. I was checking my blue business plus charges in the app and there was a link to add a business gold. When I clicked on it I was brought to the 90K offer page. Check your business accounts for the offer as well.
