New Amex Business Card Authorized User Offers Going Out

American Express has been the favorite bank among many this year for their endless stream of no lifetime language offers, upgrade offers and authorized user offers. For a while it was possible to get some really lucrative authorized user offers, like $200 back on the Hilton Business card, and some could get up to 99 cards added. Pure insanity really. You needed to call in to get those offers though and most (all?) have dried up.

I have grabbed a few of these offers here and there and my wife’s personal Amex Platinum was targeted more than once. We even ran into some issues with it. The good news is it appears some offers are rolling out to accounts for business cards once again. My wife was targeted for one such offer on her Blue Business Plus card. Share any you find in the Amex Offers section of your account in the comments below.

New Amex Business Card Authorized User Offers

Blue Business Plus Authorized User Offer

I noticed this offer in her account’s Amex Offers section this morning, along with some more expand your membership offers. It looks like more of the no lifetime language welcome offers went out in bunches yesterday too.  Here are the terms of her authorized user offer:

  • Earn a $50 statement credit after each Employee Card Member that you add through this page spends $1,000 in eligible purchases on their new Card in their first 6 months of Card Membership
  • Earn up to $250 in statement credits.
  • Offer expires 12/31/22 (or when they decide to pull it)

This isn’t as good as the $200 offers we were seeing a few months back but it is still a decent offer. It is like earning 7%+ on all of the spend because she would get 2X Membership Rewards on all of the spend plus the $50 credit.  It is nice that it is for up to 5 people instead of just 1 like we see often for the personal cards.

I like the business card AU offers better because you don’t need to add a social security number for the cards when adding new authorized users. Even if you did they won’t count towards the person’s Chase 5/24 count which is a nice plus here.

Final Thoughts

I wasn’t planning on grabbing this one because I have too many irons in the fire right now, more on that in a later article. But, the terms say that we have until 12/31/22 to take advantage of the offer. That makes it more likely that we grab it at some point, assuming it sticks around of course. With Amex they will often pull these offers from your account early. So, if you see one and want it, grab it right away.

Let me know if you see any other offers on your accounts and I’ll add them in.
